How to play FunnyPigeon
FunnyPigeon is a very realistic, very dumb virtual pigeon that lives in your browser. Here is everything she can do, which is not much.
Things to do with her
-
Poke her
Tap her head, belly or a wing. Each spot gets its own reaction: a bonk, an "oof" or an offended squawk.
-
Annoy her
Keep poking and her patience bar drains. She gets angry, throws a flapping fit and finally panics and falls over.
-
Feed her
Tap Feed, pick seeds, crumbs, popcorn, bread or a fry, then tap the ground. She waddles over and usually misses the first peck.
-
Pet her
Press and hold on her. She coos, hearts float up and she calms down a little.
-
Leave her alone
She wanders, stares at the sky, forgets how to stand and, after about half a minute without attention, falls asleep.
-
Watch her fall over
Sometimes for a reason, often for none. She always gets back up, sometimes insisting that nobody saw.
Questions
What is FunnyPigeon?
FunnyPigeon is a free browser game starring a photorealistic virtual pigeon with no brain cells. You poke her, feed her and pet her, and she reacts as stupidly as possible: confused stares, pecking the wrong spot, angry flapping and falling over for no reason.
Can I play with a virtual pigeon online?
Yes. Open funnypigeon.com in a modern browser on a phone, tablet or computer and she is right there. There is nothing to download and no account to create.
How do I poke the pigeon?
Tap or click her. Her head, her belly and each wing react differently: a bonk and a squawk for the head, an "oof" for the belly, and a squawk and a sideways glare for a wing. Sometimes the message takes a second to reach her brain.
What happens if I keep poking her?
Her patience bar drains. Keep going and she gets angry, then throws a flapping fit, and finally panics and falls over. Leave her alone and her patience slowly comes back. She also falls over now and then for no reason at all.
How do I feed the pigeon?
Tap Feed, pick a snack (seeds, crumbs, popcorn, bread or a fry), then tap the ground to drop it. She stares at it, waddles over and pecks at it, often missing the first time. She chokes on bread a lot, and sometimes on popcorn or a fry.
Can I pet her?
Yes. Press and hold on her. She coos, little hearts float up and she calms down a bit.
Why did she fall asleep?
If nobody touches her for about half a minute she dozes off. Poke her or tap the ground to wake her up. Tapping the ground while she is awake makes her turn and look at the spot.
What do the numbers at the top mean?
Her brain cell count (always zero), how many times you have poked her and how many times she has fallen over. The counts are kept in your browser on this device.
Does FunnyPigeon have sound?
Yes. Every coo, squawk and bonk is generated in your browser. Use the speaker button to mute her.
Is FunnyPigeon free?
Yes, completely free, with no sign-up. On a phone you can add it to your home screen and open it like an app.
